Just the Basics Financial Literacy produces workshops, seminars, teleconferences and webinars centered on FUNdamental Financial Literacy Education. Me’Shae is the author of “How To Save Money & Organize Your Finances: Tales of an Urban Consumer” (2006), as well as a Course Handbook compiling the financial literacy curriculum she developed (2018). She is a Certified Educator in Personal Finance designated by FinCert.org affiliated with the Institute for Financial Literacy and is a Train-the-Trainer. Me'Shae has received MWBE certification status with the City of Syracuse and New York State.
Me'Shae both frequents and has presented at national financial education conferences. Subsequently, she has aggregated national and local resources for her organizational clients and youth and adult learners. Me'Shae has been quoted by "Consumer Reports" magazine, and is regularly invited to speak, teach and present on financial education, the longtime passion of her heart.
Me'Shae is the Executive Producer of the 2021 Financial Empowerment Summit (www.FinancialEmpowermentSummit.org) and serves on a number of executive and philanthropic boards benefiting Upstate/Central New Yorkers. On a personal testimonial note, Me'Shae has experienced the gamut ranging from downsizings and ensuing debt, to professional and entrepreneurial success as a franchise owner.
