Jean D. Moody-Williams, RN, MPP, is an author, national health-care expert, and ordained deacon of Christian ministry. She has authored numerous inspirational and instructional Christian educational resource materials as well as written numerous articles for the healthcare industry. She conducts workshops for caregivers and her latest publication provide caregiver information for caregiving. Jean D. Moody-Williams has also devoted over twenty years of service in leadership presiding over health care policies, quality improvement efforts in healthcare, and patient-centered care. In addition, Deacon Moody-Williams has served, alongside her husband of thirty years, as co-superintendent of Sunday school services, co-director of Christian education initiatives, and coordinator of fifteen ministries within her church in the greater Washington D.C metropolitan area. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Hampton University and a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Maryland, College Park.
