Tamara S. Norris is a licensed acupuncturist and herbologist. She has provided excellent care in Traditional Medicine since 2007. Tamara holds a BS in English and Chemistry Pre-Med and has received numerous awards for academics and medical research. She holds a Master Of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin, Tx. She holds status as a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and holds a dual certification in Zen Shiatsu-certified with the American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia (AOBTA) in Acupressure. She is licensed to practice by the Texas Medical Board. At Acufit-Capital City Wellness, Tamara specializes in applying integrative therapy for adults and children with acupuncture, herbs, acupressure, bodywork, nutrition therapy,and cupping among other treatments.
