The president of Platform is Dana Henson, a successful real estate developer who has had a distinguished career in the housing industry for more than 21 years. Although Platform is a fairly new company, founded in August, 2016, Ms. Henson brings to the table years of experience in the areas of design detail and budget and schedule management from her development background as Vice President of The Henson Development Company.

Platform is committed to providing full service construction services in the areas of rough and finished carpentry; including, but not limited to, wood and steel blocking, framing, drywall installation and finishing, cabinet installation, bath and toilet accessory installation, shelving installation, retail space and basement remodeling and build out, and patio design and construction. Our team has extensive experience in managing construction challenges. Dr. Emily Pollard specializes in cosmetic surgery, breast surgery, body contouring, facial rejuvenation, and women’s health issues. As one of Philadelphia’s leading plastic surgeons, Dr. Pollard is recognized for her surgical ability and her experience in addressing the unique needs of women and men of different ethnic backgrounds.

Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Pollard is an active member of the highly selective American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and former Associate Dean for Minority Affairs at Pennsylvania’s Drexel University College of Medicine, located in Philadelphia.

The daughter and granddaughter of physicians, Dr. Pollard was an honors student at Smith College, and she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy at the University of Wisconsin. She graduated from Meharry Medical College, Nashville, Tennessee, where she was class valedictorian. She completed her general surgery residency and served as chief resident at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Pollard completed her plastic surgery residency at Indiana University and practiced for several years in the Indianapolis area before moving to Pennsylvania and setting up her cosmetic surgery practice near Philadelphia in 1996.

Through her years of practice, Dr. Pollard has become one of Philadelphia’s most respected plastic surgeons specializing in cosmetic breast surgery, body contouring, facial rejuvenation, and women’s health issues. She is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Lankenau Medical Center on Philadelphia’s Main Line.

I am a trained Perinatal Mental Health Therapist and a Credentialed Substance Use Disorder Counselor with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education. Positive Direction and Associates, Inc. provides counseling to women that are pregnant and are on the journey of recovery. Our company has three components (1) lower the length of stay for infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; (2) Improve the quality of life for women by addressing the psychosocial and emotional aspects during pregnancy and beyond; (3) Educate pregnant women and the medical provider on all aspects of addiction prenatal and postnatal. Our company provides training to medical providers on the best practices while treating pregnant women that are in the process of recovery.
